Welcome to my first "HOW TO" post. I decided I had to join the elite rank of bikers so I bought a project bike - haha. Well, its become even more of a project after I got ran over so Ive had plenty of DIY/How To experiments.

Im learning how to wrench on bikes so I surfed the net for a while on a "how to change your spark plugs" walk through with no luck, so I decided to make one myself. To all you experienced techs out there, plz be patient, this is written for newbies

Below is a clip by clip walk through of my project. I have a 1987 Honda Hurricane 600f1. I had read all through this forum about changing spark plugs and read that you dont have to remove the radiator, but I decided to anyway, simply for demonstration purposes (even so, I was having a hard time letting it hang out of the way cause the top tubes didnt have any slack... thats when I decided to disconnect it)

Getting Started:
*Getting Settled In
*Prepping the Area
*Removing the Radiator
*A look at the Boots
*Trick to Removing the Radiator Easily

Removing the Spark Plugs:
*Stuck! Use a thin walled deep 18mm socket
*Unstuck! Trick to Removing the Spark Plug - USE A MAGNET!
*Analyzing your Spark Plugs

WHAT KIND/TYPE OF SPARK PLUGS DO YOU USE FOR A 1987 HONDA HURRICANE?:
*What Kind of Spark Plugs/Anti-Seize/Gapping Your Spark Plugs

Putting It All Back Together:
*How Tight Should the Spark Plugs Be?
*Tip for Which Boot Goes Where
*Firmly Replacing the Boots

If you decided to remove your radiator youll want to reconnect it now. BUT, before you tighten all the screws and put everything back together CHECK TO SEE IF YOUR BIKE STARTS! :P Seems kinda obvious, but you dont want to have to take it all apart again to fix an error.

So thats it!

Thanks for readin and I hope this was helpful!
