I have sort of a problem.  I took my bike to a shop to get some work done on it and the guy had to take the wheel off.  Well, when he put the tire back on and aligned the chain back up, he tightened the bolt waaaay too tight. Now I can't loosen it by hand with a socket.  What should I do?  I don't feel too comfortable using an impact drill on it since you're not supposed to take it all the way off.

Stick a long pipe on the socket handle. It will give you more leverage. Just make sure you are turning the right way or you will damage something.

Very nice and helpful site!

2 quick things
- Do you NEED to remove one of the fairings (right side?) to do an oil change? - Looks like you can get to the filter from the front, and the bottom of the engine looks equally accessible - just need to find a way to deal with the oil dripping as the filter comes out...

I dont remove the fairing on mine..Reach thru and remove the oil filter..Reinstall it and clean all the left over dripping oil off with brake cleaner(let it dry for a few mins and its good to go)...Put a drip pan under the bike and remove the oil pan bolt..Took 10 mins.
