So im polishing my wheels and have them all apart. I want to know if anybody has some good information on upgrading hub bearings. I figured if they are apart anyways I might as well upgrade them to something that will lessen rotational resistance. Any information on what to get or where to look would be appreciated. Thanks-

No one wants to help me with this??? One of you master members should know a bit or two about rotational mass... hook a honda brother up.

Well... The only real upgrade would be to go to ceramic bearings... The two most reliable sources that I know of are Woodcraft (you'll have to call as they don't list them for the 07/08 yet) or WorldWide Bearings (agian you'll have to call, and have the #'s off the old ones handy.

But beware...you're looking at big $$$.

Jikes... Ill look into it, but thank you for the direction. Also, do you think its worth the upgrade? Im not tracking the bike, just trying to make it more efficient.

Honestly, For the price no I don't think it is worth it.  I race, and to replicate my bike it would be north of $25,000  and there are still alot more thing I'd do long before ceramic bearings.   Now if they were less than $100 for both wheels I'd probably use them, but at over $200 a wheel, well that buys a lot of race school, tires and fuel...and I have three sets of wheels.

I remember reading a review of ceramic bearings once. I don't remember the brand or bike used but I do ercall that it was only about 1 (one) hp gained.

I agree with Jason- use the $$$ for other upgrades.
