It's a beautiful thing, I remember my first night out with my baby. Just take it easy on the new tires, trust me I know. It got a little squirrelly on me a couple of times.

It looks like you are addicted to speed

May I'm grinnin from ear to ear!!! Just put about 40 more miles on her tonight. Went down some back roads, then out on to a state highway. Turned off into a new middle school parking lot & just practised all the manuevers I'd just refreshed on at MSF school. Figure 8s in a tight box, emergency stops, weaves & slolums, etc.

I also have started cranking her out just a bit (like up to 10 - 11,000 rpm in 1st, 2nd, & 3rd. Man the speed is ADICTING!!!!!! I'm seeing what everyone likes here!!!

Anyway, got home & wiped her down with Zaino #7 gloss enhancer spray. Stuff is MAGIC!!! I've already got 1 coat of Zaino wax on her & there's more to come.

Here's a couple of pictures after dark just before pulling into the garage.

NICE way to end a hectic week!!!

Zaino is THE stuff to buy. I bought the complete kit and it does wonders.

Is that plane a Gulfstream? Geez, to have a life where you fly for work, then have the best toys to play on... (sigh)

You talking about this "ride at work" Don??? It'll do well over 500 mph!!!
And it's got some pretty radical lean angles too if you want to do it.

Actually it's a Citation 560 XL. Yep, it's a tough job, but somebody's gotta do it!!! Hard work pays off. That & being careful with your money - saving for things vs impulse buying.

Just wait untill you forget you are on your bike and shoot the customary wave to the passing Corvette. I get the look of shock, kinda like I can't believe this guy thinks he is good enough to wave at me!

I have a black C5 coupe with ghost flames on it. Been looking the last few months for an 02 or 03 Z like yours. I love my car but ever since the Z06 came out in 01 it has been my dream car. Maybe this evening I can get home and snap a couple of pics of my bike and car. What part of the country are you in?

Very nice!! I had an 02 Z06. This one's an 04. Get an 02 if you can. Best bang for the 405 hp buck. The Z06 is to the C5 as an RR is to an F4i. I live near Atlanta. You?

I live in Charlotte. Corvette and especially the Z are the best deal bar none when you consider performance to price. Good luck with the new bike.

Last one, I tried to show the flames but with the car being dirty and light not right, kinda hard to see them.

Waaay cool hogfish!! I'm actually in charlotte right now on a flight. Leaving 3 PM. Thanks for sharing the picts!! Looks like you & I really have a ton in common. Wish we lived closer & could ride together some.

By the way, if you want to take the Vette out on a track let me know. I can get you in a good deal through RPM Motorsports out of Atlanta. I'm a driving instructor there.

BLACK & BLACK is cool for sure!! We got the same obsessions my friend!!
