De Pretto Race  carbon exhaust system, sold by Honda with the 2006 RR and only for the Italian market

I got it from a friend and made a couple modifications to mount it on my 2003 RR

Hope you like it!

Thatsa nice exhausta!!!!  My only negative thought is the two nuts/bolts visible from the back.  Maybe something less bulky or with rounded heads.

Molto Bene! La Bella exhausta.

Actually I'm looking for something to change these bolts but I can't find anything....the original were with rounded head but you have to drill them to remove the db killers so you can't re-use the original.....
Btw exhaust = scarico  but I appreciate it!

Well sounds great, until you're under 5k rpm it has the typical sound of carbon exhaust....it shakes houses....over 8k rpm it screams very loud.....and if you remove the db killer people can hear you from kilometers away! I'll try to put an mp3 with the sound tomorrow.

maybe you can try to find one on the Italian Ebay or asking directly the producer, if they still have some

that ish is illsky!  translation...i like it!

It sounds like you had some rivets in there before.  Maybe you could find a rivet gun and redo it.  Not to say the bolts look bad, but it would look cleaner with a nice rivet job.

Right, rivets! sorry but i didn't know this word   The fact is that if I put new rivets then I won't be able to remove the db killers although I drill them again....I'm going to check for round headed bolts, it seems to me the easiest solution

Thanks! here's some new pics and a small video.....the sound is pretty good in this video but not as good as it is in reality!  don't worry about the white smoke, it's just some condensed water (I just finished to wash it)

Fede...check out the 'button' and the 'cap', maybe these would look better.

Cool, that's what I was looking for

Actually when I wrote " I'm looking for something...but I can't find anything"  I meant    " I'm looking inside the garage in my father's stuff but I can't find anything here"  So this afternoon I'll go to check for these bolts and nuts in a shop
