I HATE MONDAYS

OK so today im out riding around on my day off in the wifes car (06 Chevy Aveo) since my bike is broke, i come to the redlight down the street and i smell an electrical fire but theres a tar truck in front of me so im thinking maybe its just the tar and im not smelling right, so next red light smoke starts billowing out from under the hood. im like now WTF so i whip into the apt's real fast, pop the hood and low and behold if the radiator fan isnt cracking and smoking, as im looking flames come out of the fan motor and start burning the wires, so i run upstairs grab the fire exting., run back down and put it out..the whole time im thinking GOD I HATE MONDAYS, i mean its about a year and a half old and till now has been a great car, i love chevy's and wouldnt drive anything else but the whole stink of the situation is now the cars broke down, my bikes broke down so im left without a way to go and Lesley and I both work so this is gonna be a fun coupla days, the chevy guy said he has to have the car 4 24 hours before he can give me a free rental, im waiting to hear back from GEICO to see if they will cover the rental instead of the dealer. this isnt my week. LOL. sorry guys just had to rant.

That stinks.  Literally.  Sorry to hear things burned up.  But thanks for posting your experience.   Maybe I'll go get a fire extingusher for my car.  And maybe carry whatever wrenches are needed to disconnect the battery in an emergency.  I'd hate have that happen to me somewhere fifty miles from nowhere.

I think the more appropriate saying would be.............. "I HATE CHEVROLETS!"
