I was riding my 2004 CBR 1000RR with a passanger and we got hit by a car turning out in front of me. I was doing about 30-35 mph, but the sudden stop set my passenger flying along with me, but I bounced off the car. She broke her collar bone, and I sprained my wrist, bruised elbow (other arm), and both got numerous cuts and scrapes. I'm glad we were both wearing helmets, long pants, gloves, and boots.
We are both fine, but my bike is a total loss.
Now is the waiting game for the insurance.
First accident since I got my license in 1984.
I can't stand when people either don't look or look right through you. I almost went over the hood of a car twice last week....and I don't even commute or ride in very much traffic!
