I might be moving to a Kawi

Hey guys, I had posted about a week or two ago about trading my bike for a 2003 yamaha R1 with a salvage title. Thanks to your advice I decided not to get it, but have since been looking around and found a 2003 Kawasaki 636 with 12,000 miles. It has a full Muzzy exhaust and a power commander. I think everything else is stock. He loves the paint job on my bike and I want something newer, I want a 1000 but will consider another 600. Anyway he has it listed for sale at $4200 and I had mine for sale at $4500, I offered him to trade bikes and he make up the difference and pay me $300. I need advice again, and want to know what you guys think.

So you guys think it would be a good trade. He said $300 plus his bike wouldnt be fair so I told him to let me know what he thinks.

well, you are selling above the market price and he is selling a bit bellow. so i would be cautious. did you ride the bike and examine it for leakages, scuff on the alternator case?

I haventy looked at the bike or drove it yet. I am trying to get the idea of trading in his head first, and if he is interested I will look into it further. But so far I like the bike.

yes, the bike is fine. looks repainted. i cant tell for sure. first, see if he is up for the trade than you can drool over it some more
