and thats exactly how kids get shot on accident. because somewhere, some parent has a gun loaded and has not instructed their kids on its use and safety precautions.

i was shooting with my dad when i was like 5. first thing i learned, safety. if that kid knew how a gun worked, he would have known to check for ammo, and obviously how to cock it.

and in conclusion, i think the video might be a fake. only thing making me think it isn't is the look on that kids face. you cant fake that shock.

I think that video is mad fake. He just flipped it behind him. No smoke, the noise sounds like it came from the Counter Strike game, and i think he would do more than gay smile.

Same thing I thought. The shot doesn't sound like it's inside the house. It sounds like it's outside. I vote FAKE.

+1 on gun safety. The kids who get hurt weren't instructed to repect the weapon. This video does seem fake, though.

I think the sound has been added, but that doesn't chage the fact that the recoil, on what looked to be a Smith & Wesson .40cal, would defenitely throw the gun backwards for someone who wasn't prepared for it.

Besides, if you pause the video just right, you can see the look of sheer terror on his face when it actually fires. Also, rarely will you see smoke coming out of a barrel on a single shot, unless that single shot is after a few have already gone through.

Pause the video when he fires it, and you be the judge.

I tried to pause it to see if slide retracts when he pulls the trigger but I couldnt tell. Can anybody else see it retract?

i couldnt tell. the gun is all blurry from the movement, but you do get to see the real look on his face. and he did pull the trigger right when it fired. his face really does look like he was shocked it fired as it did. not sure on this, its a tough one.

It looks real to me.either that or he's a great actor.

Totally FAKE! There's no spent case being ejected, no powder smoke, and being indoors and slightly dark, you'd see a hint of muzzle flash. And sound was added. No gun sounds like that unless it's in a video game.
But I'll agree it was a dumbass thing to do. I'm sure real things like that happen with kids playing with them. On a Beretta forum I used to frequent, I saw a dude's hand after he put a round though it. Was disassembling a 9mm Glock for cleaning, chambered a round and BAM! Almost lost two fingers

He said you're a bad actor and cant recognize an even worse one.

The sound is defenitely added. That sound effect is 100% most defenitely from the AWP (Arctic Warfare Predator) sniper rifle in the game Counter-Strike. I've skipped many of college classes back in the day playing that game and would know it anywhere.

that and weapons when close sound like very very very loud firecrackers and usually will be recorded as crackles with lots of noise then a definite gun snap like you hear in video games.

Fact remains that the kid is a big idiot playing with a gun like that.

Totally fake. There is no flash from the gun, no spent cartridge, didnt pull the trigger, and no handgun has a kick back like that. Looks like a 9mm or at best a 40 sw and they aint kickin that hard. Plus the noise is completely fake and would b alot louder if the camera man is sittin right next to him in an enclosed room. Still funny tho cause he made it look like the gun kicked back and smacked the tard in the face

I heard the brass and tried to pause it when the trigger was pulled, I think it was real. Also if he threw it over his shoulder, he would have had to get some momentum going to flip it that quick.

That gun was fired. Period.

You don't see a spent casing because the gun was ejected from his hand like the casing was from the pistol. Look at how the pistol cartwheels out of his hand and he tries to grab it before realizing, "maybe I shouldn't just grab it."

You're not gonna see smoke or a muzzle flash everytime a gun is fired. Just doesn't happen. I've been to night range shootings countless times, and the muzzle flash is defnitely an infrequent occurance. You've not been around pistols very much.

Also, that kid is what, 13, 14 years old, maybe 115lbs? Yeah, that gun would have some recoil to some kid handling it like a cap gun.

You guys had me second guessing myself there for a minute, but I had to watch it again... he fired that pistol and it scared the living shiite outta him. There is no denying the fact that the sound of the shot has been added - but the pistol was fired.

Oh yeah, having a camera RIGHT THERE doesn't translate to, "being louder." If anything, the sound would have been muffled and not very impressive sounding, which is most certainly why they added a nifty gunshot sound to the video.

Watch it again...

Jeezus what a moron kid. Funny look on his face though, I wanna know what the hell he says at the end. Anyone know what language that is?
