Hey guys I got my jardine dual outlet in today an was putting it on before i ran into an issue. For those who own this exhaust and have put it on, did anyone else have as much a pain in the ass as im having with the actual bracket that holds the can. I dont know what Im doin wrong but I just cant get the bolt to go all the way through both sides the bracket without callin on my incredible hulk powers. any advice would be really appreciated

It takes 2 people and make sure you locktite it when you tighten in down, get a extension on a rachet and a wrench and make sure you run some locktite on the threads, not much if its the red a little more if using blue. Not being a smartass but the tail section is off, reason i ask there was someone on here wanting to put another exhaust on without removing it and it cant be done with it on.

so how long did it take you to actually complete the install or are you not done yet?

it takes no time at all to get the pipe on the bracket for the canister was my hold up. course i was doin it by myself. If you have a buddy help you im sure it would take less that an hour. All it takes is romoving the tail section which is 4 bolts(some remove the rearset an brake but i didnt) connect the pipe to the headers, then connect the canister to the pipe with the two springs. Then place the bracket around the canister and connect it to the frame. thats the hard part. the damn bracket wants to fight with ya.

did it end up scratching the carbon fibre or just a very tight fit?

It took me about 50 mins from the time i lifted the tail section to taking off the stocker pulling my tail light for a integrated and install of my Jardine DT Ti and my tags mount and putting the tail back on. Make sure you wipe down your pipe with wd 40 during and after the install.

Can we get some pictures of the finished product? I'm in the market for a pipe and always like looking at other RR's with aftermarket pipes on them.

Nice pics, but I have to admit I was disappointed.  I expected to see Vida's can...

The WD will take care of any finger prints and oil you get on the pipe. Crank it let it run or go for a ride, it was to damn cold when i put mine on so i just run it til it got good and hot then i let it cool then i washed my bike using simple green on the pipe to take off the WD40, hope this helps.

Yeah the bolt was hitting the mid pipe and i did a quick fix i washered it out with a lock washer and it gave me some clearance. Glad you said something otherwise i was going to have a hole in the mid pipe and that wouldnt be good.

Not gasket just the wrong damn stickers i think, i got RT5 stickers in the sealed package the clamp and bolts come with. My last Jardine didnt have one either and i never had any problems with it.

I fought with the clamp for about an hour before I decided to get a longer bolt. Worked perfect and cant tell the difference.
