It was a tuff choice but decided to go with a Jardine dual exit in carbon fiber. The titanium was nice too but thought the carbon looked pretty sweet. I hope it sounds good and does anyone know if I have to remove the heat shield thats under the stock exhaust, I hope not because it does a pretty good job. Also do I need to get a rear fender eliminater kit or is it made to work with the stock setup? Well im pretty excited and cant wait to put it on. Is the install pretty straight forward ? I''ve done many slip ons but old school you know on the side very basic. Sorry about all the questions and I imagine I probably should of asked them before I bought it lol. But it looks sweet and I wanted something a little louder so Traffic can hear me coming but unforuntaley I know it attracts some unwanted attention to lol .

Hmm, not sure why you haven''t had a response yet. I don''t have the Jardine, but I know a lot of people on the forum has them and likes them. the install shouldn''t be a problem, but I don''t have a Jardine, so I can''t be certain.

Stay tuned for a how to thread once I do the install since no one here appears to know anything about slip ons : ) Since I didnt know if I needed it or not I figured it would be better to have it and not need it then to need it and not have it so I picked up some Del cool tape, Dei Exhaust wrap, Hose clamps for the exhaust wrap and a Jardine rear fender eliminator kit .

I''''ll throw some pics up when its installed hopefully by next weekend depending on when everything arrives And let you know how fittment and the sound is to . I''''ve read a lot of good things and heard a video of it and it sounds pretty good. After I get it installed and if you end up getting one i''''ll help you out with any tips on the install because I''''ll be kind of winging it and learning as I go So that way you wont have to .

u get it on alright? i just put one on my 07'''' 1000 as well and everything went fine except the directions sucked and when i got to the point about the exhaust valve cables it was a pain. also mine went on a little cocked. i used my stick fender kit but i have a the jardine fender eleminator kit as well just ran out of time working on it. but the stock one went on fine. sounds good but i was dissapointed with the low end performance so i ordered a power commander and it should be in tomorow

Ya the biggest and most time consuming part was the cables for sure , but the fitment was perfect and is straight but I was cursing the directions when it came time to find the other end of cables were it connects to the servo. As far as power I noticed a increase in power all the way around but then again I only have 300 miles on my bike now so im still getting use to it, but I did notice it seems to idle a little rougher but not bad but once its over around 2000 rpms its very smooth and pulls hard. Im still tring to figure out what rear fender eliminator to run, I orderd a jardine but its like two weeks out and it doesnt have a plate light so im undecided i might cancel, for now im running the stock one but had to trim it just a little to put the jardine on, all in all im really liking this pipe although it was a little loud at first but im geting use to it.

Let me know how the power commander works out and how much it was, and how the install goes,

yea the directions did blow. i have the jardine fender kit as well but i havent had a chance to put it on but im gonna try to get to it tonight. I paid 289 for my power commander and I bought it from
www.forwardmotionmc.com . They seem to have really reasonable prices and they dont charge shipping on mostly everything that they have.

put that Jardine Fender Kit on my bike last night and I will have to say its junk. Didnt line up good. We had to force it in and then take a hack saw to the bolts on my turn signal to get them to go on. If you havent put it on yours yet I would send it back and get another kind.

there supposed to be better than the K&N and there a little more too. I paide 128 for mine. they make two types a general one and a race one and got the general purpose because they said not to get the other on unless your only on the track all the time
