That was no fun at all!

I think it would have been easier to pull the motor to do it.

It only took about an hour, but would have taken a lot less time if you could get to it

I looked at the tutorial floating around before I did it, and it looks like the F4 has a lot more room to work than the F4i does

But it is fixed and don't rattle any more

how much tension are you supposed to put on the cam chain after replacing the cct?

they don't have an exact measure of tension...what's been used is just turn in until noise is gone, then back out until you hear the noise again, and then 1/4 in...so not exact...all by ear.

the stocker, while noisy, still does it's job of putting the right amount of tension on the cam chain...it's just noisy. there's a way to fix this...

not enough complaints mang...and no one is dying from this...
it's not like a firestone thang...
i think they focus on all the new skool stuff now...
