Load Resistors

I got some flush mounting blinkers. They came with load resistors. Had like no place to mount them so i just didnt mount them. Will this hurt anything. The only thing i notice is that my Blinker indicater light arre both on all the time. Which this does not bug me at all just wondering if it will hurt anything.

Usually the resistors are used to slow the blinking rates since when you replace them they blink faster. Don''t know why the indicator lights are staying on though...

It said not to run the running like wire to it but i did. Because i want them on all the time dont i?

You CAN run the running light wire, most people choose not to. This is what will cause your turn signals to stay on all of the time. Most just run the signal wire and ground, and don''t have running lights. It''s purely your preference, and whether or not you want your signal indicators on all of the time.

The only reason i did it was because when i had the stock blinkers on the blinkers were lit up all the time.

It you want running lights then leave it how you got it.  I think having turn signals may be safer.  At least people know if you''re turning or not.  Like I mentioned before, mine are now just signals and I didn''t use any resistors.

I''d rather have turn signals lights flush cause I want them to know where I am going.Most led systems are designed for turn signals only.If you notice the orinal system has tree wires but the new one only has two.You are going to sacrify your running lamps but it is o.k.I Have been running mine this way.

As far as the faster blinking goes, I have a plug in flasher relay on mine, and it worked great.  $24.47 shipped.  Just remove the seat, unplug the stock relay, and plug in the new one.  No more annoying fast blinkers.  http://www.customled.com/PRODUCTS/FLASHER_RELAY/flasher_relay.htm
