Lowered "Clip On's" make steering harder ??

I've always like the caf'e racer look and the streetfighter sort of look so I decided to put the clip ons under the triple clamp instead of above but sterring is twice as stiff now, has anbody else ever lowered them and noticed that ?

Did you have to move the forks? I'd have to see a picture of what you did.

No I didn't move the forks just the clip on's, just put the under the top fork mount instead of on top, just like a race bike, I have noticed that the for seals are gone and the front sits a little lower because of this. maybe this causes a problem with steering also
