Ok I know you all hate these questions but I just need some quick advice.  I tried lowering my 06 1000rr this past weekend and had a little trouble getting the bolts off of the existing link.  I can get the bolt closest to the rear wheel off but i cannot for the life of me get the second bolt closer to the engine off.  If anyone has done this successfully please help me out.  Thanks everyon

You can't get them loose or you can't slide them out?? Which one? If you can't slide them out you have to get the back of the bike off the ground. Then lift up on the rear wheel and slide out. I did mine with no problem. When you put it back together do the rear one first.

I cant slide the bolt out.  I got the first one out by the wheel and all pressure is off of the second one but cannot slide it out.

Put the nut back on it a little bit and give it a tap. It should just slide out.
