I'm always amazed as to how when those guys wreck you never see their bikes smashing down on them. The bikes and the riders always seem to separate and avoid eachother. You know someone has been smashed by their own bike at one point or another, you just never see it in the vids.

yeah, hahaha. I have seen a few, but nothin where the bike comes down with a whole lot of force (yes, it is 400 some pounds lol) but its usually just a tap... i think you gotta have that 6th sense of where/what you gotta do to get away. Darwinism :P

Only thing I didnt like about it was that it wasnt long enough......AWESOME video

just wondering... how do you become one of those sponcered or team riders??? how do you start in stuff??

wow being a sponsored rider... well got to figure out what your going to do with your bike, stunting, GP, or drag.. then practice practice practice.. scouts usually come to speed-ways and talk to potential riders (or drivers for cars).. but you can also do that "door to door" thing, pretty much looking at websites that say "we may sponsor" (usually in the FAQ or somewhere).. It's hard to get into sponsoring, need the skill and the committment - I know a couple of friends that sponsor drag race, they usually break-even all the time with parts and maintance.. it's a sport that you have to love to do to get into it.. (kind-of like football, you got to love to do it and then there is a slight chance you might make it to the NFL.. might)

to get into GP, if you got a prix track.. just go to the track every test and tune and practice, do it because you want to, not to be found.. Scouts will come out every week to my speedway and watch, they look for the ones that have gasoline for blood and ashalt for skin.
But if your really looking to get into something, talk to your riding buddies - ask if they know someone

besides that, Great motorGP vid - got a question about GP, when does the season usually start? - I'm always on the Speed channel and never seen it once..

I have watched this clip about ten times now,how the hell do we cope without the MOTO GP thro the winter months !!!!!!! Over here in the UK we have snow again March is normally the time to start the shake down for the season....

Is Rossi (#46) a damn robot, or just a god? Hey if you like MotoGP then the documentry called "Faster" is a must. About 4 hours of 2001, 2002, and 2003 highlights. It is a must see for all street bike riders. That's what our machines were built for, well maybe not MotoGP, but they were for World Super Bike and it is closer to GP nowadays..
