Was a little unsure whether I was going to respond. Back to this thread Even though I started it and sorry it has taken so long. But have been busy preparing to move. I discuss it with my mentor (every Marine from the commandant to the lowliest PFC. now has a mentor). I'm a little uncomfortable taking any thanks for what I have chosen to do in life. It is by family tradition being a fourth-generation Marine. I most assuredly ended up were I am today for the most part because of that (my grandfather said that we were just repaying this Great Nation for its blessing it had bestowed upon us.). Now about my injuries. I guess to make it short and in layman's terms. Basically the same as most others IED. The only big difference. We normally work in small units, and usely don't travel with a big convoy. It just happened to be one of those occasions. I would like to share one more thing with you all a part of the war and the fight for freedom that CNN ,MSNBC and Fox don't often show. I hope you take a way a little different perspective of things it is a older snapshot. But one worth seeing
