i dont know if you are thinking of putting some sliders on that protrude more from the bike, but there are some other no cut designs that stick out farther. i paid about the same for my lightning products sliders. they bolt farther back, off the engine mount bolt. they come out a lot farther. it also comes with the longer bolts,

yeah i would try lockheart phillips carbon fiber no cut for $109 at 58cycle.com
thats what I got and they they are slick!
