Since some don't know about this, I figured I'd direct you to the page that sells this product. Here you go!

The attached picture is NOT my bike, but the model used on the page. I do own this product and it's damn sexy!

You would need to ask the guy who makes them. I don't know. I ride an '04.

Wow, now that looks nice. I haven't even considered an undertail up until now because all other undertails have goofy looking tail lights. I like the fact that they keep the stock light in this configuration. Seem's pricy though, especially considering the amount of fabrication to install. Maybe it's ok though, especially considering that they include Gregg's lights with load resistors to replace the turn factory turn signals.

Did you buy one yet? What's the turn around time for the orders?

It takes about a week to 2 for shipping. The guy makes them himself. As for installing it's a bitch. It took us (Rev & I) about 5 hours to get on. You have to cut original pieces, so don't **** up! The rim tape, I also did myself.

Intresting... I don't know is it really any better then a hotbodies or somthing else?

Well I'm not fond of the 2 circle lights, so keeping the original, removing the tail and turning it into a carbon fiber back...is good enough for me.....

Well i understand all that.. it just seems like I can do that myself really easy only w/o the goofy licence plate holder for a hell of a lot cheaper then 260 bucks.. sure would like to see one irl though.. hmm.

I completely agree with Pitsvtec on this one. I'm not a fan of the Hotbodies, et. al. undertails. The twin Volkswagon looking lights are silly. I also don't like the fact that they are painted a glossy paint under there. It's just begging to get dirty and/or scratched. The carbon fiber look of these is sweet, although $260 is pricey. Hopefully this guy will get some sort of assembly line going and the price will drop. I've emailed him a couple of times and haven't gotten a response yet.

well that's pretty cool. but they don't make one for 01-02. so i've decided to build my own. so far i have completed a fiber glass undertail, which is also going to be the mold for the carbon fiber. i'll post up pics as soon as i finish it up.

I eamiled him to ask if he could make one for the 01-03 but haven't heard back yet. I had the same idea as you to make my own, except I'll probably just use the fiberglass so I can paint it and I don't really like the liscense plate mount thats on the kit above, so I'll figure something out.

Well I bought mine for $200.00 and like I said the guy makes them himself. I know that my man did e-mail him and he was quick with a response, but when he replied, he didn't get a response. IDK, but I got the part and although a bitch to put on, it's ****ing beautiful. It gets many looks when it's parked and 929, you'll see my fist before you see my tail....bastard....LOL!

I've been smacked in the face before, I'm sure it's only a matter of time before I am again.... Just as long as its for something worth while.

By the way, I've emailed this guy at OCD three times now and haven't gotten a response yet. I wonder if now that the secret is out that he's getting overwhelmed with requests.

One question for you though Pits, the OCD site says there's three LCDs to light the license plate. Where exactly are they? I can't see them in the pics on the website.

Thanks

You will not be able to see them. They are placed right above the license plate in a small gap. I have detailed where they are.

Gotcha.

Thanks so much for all the info. I'm thinking this OCD undertail is the way to go. I've already hacked off a big chunk of the rear fender with my dremmel. Might as well go all the way and get it right while I have it all apart. Hopefully the dude at OCD will get back with me so I can order that mug up.

I must admit he is bad. Maybe you should write an e-mail saying if you don't reply to me and answer my questions, I will not give you the sale.

Yep, that's probably the next step. He's got the best looking ut for the F4i though, don't want to burn the bridge yet....

Would you like me to write him....I'll set a fire under his ass to respond to potential customers....

Thanks Pits, that's a very generous offer. If you think it would help, then please send him a message. I'll hit him up again myself. If I still don't hear anything I'll buy something else.

Thanks again.
