Are there any major differences between the two blocks? Just wondering if EVERYTHING from an f4i can be put onto an f4 block. Please reply asap as i have no experience with this part of the bike.

Thanks

I already posted this in the general topic area, but thought it might get more traffic here.

Well, i came across a stroker kit that came out of an f4. It was a 654 kit. I wish to god it would have worked. It would have been a perfect platform to go from. WIth that kit you could have put a nasty size shot on it.

how big of a stroker kit do they make for the f4i?

Well, you basically have to have your block bored out and replated. That 654 was the biggest ive seen. You can go to wiseco, and get standard size pistons, but they just have higher compression than stock. Or you can get their other set that is a 618 piston, but you hvae to have your block bored, and plated.

How much of a gain would you get out of that?

Well, maybe 15hp. You would want to get it reprogrammed obviously while your in there. Its is an awesome base though for GOOD power out of this bike. Even Just going with a higher compression pistons, cams, and programming will get you real good gains. But with all of these, your taking a little bit of cash in labor to install the parts.
