i want to polish the outside of my wheels but i neeed step by step instructions on how to and whats the proper technique. Also i was wondering what chemicals do you use and what tools. Pictures would be a plus to.

http://forum.caswellplating.com/showthread.php?t=1755 Its more for frames but just transfer the info to your wheels,just take your time taping your wheels up because the oven cleaner he uses is STRONG! you really don't need to use any power tools on the wheel strips (really no room). just strip them,sand the shit out of them with 800 grit until you think it's done,then keep sanding for about another hour,then hit it with mothers aluminum polish.keep rubbing with the mothers until all the black that shoes up goes away(use a microfiber towl,they sell them at auto parts stores)

here ya go...read this,it might be a better way,I have done alot of polishing and all of mine gets mistakin' for chrome,but the way I do it takes days to complete.I think you will get the results you are after by doing it this guys way!!!
