Not sure for brake and clutch fluid, recently did my oil change, picked this up at my nearby dealer, washer, 10W-30 full synthetic HP4 and filter, also, dont forget to purchase the tool to remove the filter if you dont have one already. pretty easy job, painless and quick, but for oil I recomend, Repsol 10w-50 its a better buy. I dont know why I went with the Honda's HP4 10/30 not worth it.....go repsol.

for brake and clutch standard automotive DOT 4 will be fine.
pretty much any oil that does not contain moly will be fine. Repsol 4T racing full synth contains less moly that honda oem GN4 dino oil btw.

Just out of curiosity. . why do you feel the need to change the brade and clutch fluids?

oh, and +1 to the Repsol 10w50. . it is what I used for the first and I belive that it's worth the money. I think I have about 1400 miles on my bike now. Didn't notice any difference with the repsol, but it's piece of mind.

i run ams oil. and always run ams oil, and in all my previous bikes.
oil chance + new filter, then 3000 miles later i change the filter. 3000 more miles and a fresh oil change and new filter.

after the engine is good and broken in you really dont need to change the oil that often
it has been proven that even after 5K miles an engine with repsol in it was still protected just as well as when the oil was first put in.
i know its cheap insurance but amsoil is pricey (although a damn good oil)

Honda recommends changing the brake/clutch fluid every two years. You're wasting money and time by changing it now. Oh and the clutch fluid is not SUPPOSED to be black. Mine was black when I first purchased mine so I flushed it out with fresh DOT 4 brake fluid and it has been a nice amber brown color for the last 13,000 miles now. Typically when brake fluid discolors like that it indicates moisture has seeped into the fluid and the nature of brake fluid is that it mixes with the moisture instead of separating like oil, causing it to discolor.

My clutch fluid looks more like a Guinness Extra Stout rather than a Starbucks Espresso Dark Roast Blend.

wierd, i read that it turns black because of the rubber clutch line.

Nah, think about all the older bikes that had rubber brake hoses...the fluid didn't get black in those bikes.

heat from the boiling of the break fluid and rubber hoses[ allows lower boiling point of brake fluid] causes this- use better fluid [ higher boiling point] and braded ss lines- fluid is cleaner so much longer-phil

Not sure about the oil but if your brake fluid and the clutch fluid is black it's not a good thing. Change them and you wont bellive the difference. And if you have some extra cash put in some nice stainless steel lines to. Huge difference. Just put in SS lines on my and it's fantastic for fast riding and track. Cheers.

One more thing. Make sure you take off all the plastics or you'll regret it if a bit of brake fluid drops on it. Don't even ask how i know this ;-( good luck.
