Okay. I have been riding a little over a year now. Rocking Honda's the entire time. Starting with a F3, F4i, and now the bike that first made me want to start riding. A Orange Tribal 06 600rr. It was used but only had 112 miles on it. I traded my bike and some cash for it. The dealer gave me 3,500 for my F4i and I gave them 4k cash. I think if i had sold the bike myself I could have gotten 4,500 easily maybe 5. But it was a spur of the moment.
Anyways. The names Corey. Now once i get my income tax check it will be time to get my hands dirty and go to work on the bike. Planning on intergrated tail, Exhaust ( I really miss the sound of my d&d), Frame sliders (ordering tonight), Flushmounts, 7k HID's, Pazzo levers, Rim Tape, New Wind Screen, Along with whatever else I come up with. Ideas and suggestions are welcomed.

I have a question though. With my previous bikes i bought them with 5k+ miles and the gears seemed to chang fairly smooth, sometimes unoticeable. With this bike I can feel the gears change it seems to click into every gear. Is this normal or just because I am still breaking the bike in? Just something I was wondering about. Also is there anything special i need to do while i finish breaking in the bike? I plan on taking it easy till I hit 500, not that I am going to be out racing it on the streets anyways. I know at 400 I am suppose to change the oil, check chain, but what other maintance do i need to plan on doing?

How do you end up with a used bike with 112 miles???  Mommy wouldn't let him ride it?

Congrats.  I assume you mean that you feel like the actual shifting part is felt more with your foot than your other bikes?  I still feel mine at 16k miles (05 60RR).

Breaking in, the only tip I can think of that isn't argued by anyone is to vary the RPM.  Never ride at the same RPM for an extended period of time.  Like jump on the interstate at 65 MPH and ride 250 miles then turn around and head home at the same speed.  Other than that, there are many opinons as how to break in a bike.  I personally take it easy for the break in.  Car like take offs and no back road twisties where I'm down shifting a lot.

Congrats!!!! Looks like one hell of a deal. 112 miles? How did that happen?
Reminds me of a guy that has been trying to get me to buy his 06' zx10 with 15miles on it. He drove it home from the dealer, the power scared the hell out of him and its never left the garage since. LOL!!!!

Hope you have many good miles with her!!!!

According to the story. It wasn't a kid but a man. He bought the bike and then tried to convince his wife to let him keep it. I guess she won.   I am not complaining though. I'de like to thank her someday.

Yeap it's what I have always wanted. I already installed the frame sliders. They went on perfect. The bike is a little to much eye candy though compared to my F4i. I already bought a disc lock and I am ordering me a alarm soon. Just gotta find out which one I want.

Congrats bro.. I own the same bike 06 cbr600rr orange with the tribals.. I bought it brand new and they said the normal, take it easy for such and such miles blah blah.. but I just took it easy for the first tank of gas and then i just rode it how i planned on riding it, changed oil at 500miles.. the gears were unusually loud for first couple hundred miles they will break in fine.

Hope you enjoy the bike as much as I do.. oh and for parts on mine I have flushmounts, fendereliminator, black windscreen, and Boz Broz exhaust... check out the exhaust looks great and sounds better, take it easy

Man, what does the guy want for that ZX?

I would jump all over it.

15 miles and if no damage, just deduct 1,000 from the retail price before TT&L and pay him cash.

Since he is an individual, make sure he has a title.
