So I've been buying up parts to put on my bike, because it's my baby and I'm single and I have nothing better to waste my money on right now...SO....
I got a 43 tooth rear sprocket and a 16 tooth front sprocket, which is the OEM gearing. They sent me a 120 link chain...which I know is too long, so I think I have to cut it myself. I saw somewhere recently that my bike (a 2004 600RR) with stock gearing needs a 112 link chain. But I'm not 100% sure, and I can't find the website I saw it on and Google isn't helping me any...so here I am asking all the good people on this forum for help....
SO...after that long winded intro...here's my question...
Does my 2004 600 RR with stock gearing (16 f, 43 r) use a chain with 112 links?
By the way, I was able to find a black chain to match my swing arm "black-out" project.
EK is the only company I found to make it.

it should be around there but doesn't matter the number, wrap it along the sprockets like u are goin to install it. overlap and see what link you need to pop out the rivit to make the chain work, if ur unsure make it longer then shorter, u can always pop out another rivet.. it's a bitch reinstall a rivet

Stock gearing requires a 112 link chain.
