Here’s some pics of the Yoshi Edition of Tripage's new FE. Here's was my wish list from Tri when we started this process 2 months ago:

Something that wouldnt get me pulled over
Lit with LED's
As clean and minimal installation as possible

Here's what arrived:

When you put your plate up to the frame, you'll see that the wire to hook up the LED's sticks out of the top left corner

So just drill a hole in your plate to run the wire through

Run the wire through, bolt every thing up....your ready for installation

The plate is totally adjustable....so if you were to get pulled over, you can sit there and adjust the angle till our finest in blue is happy. Here's some shots from all sides, again I wanted legal but absolute minimum "presence" if you will. Double Bonus--Tri powdercoated the bracket for me:

All told, the install from start to finish will only take you 45 minutes....and that's including a BEER br

Dayum, thats sweet...I've made my mind up. I'm either getting this or trying to make my own with the plate way back under some more. I love that though, very low profile

Here's from the guy's who make it:

"You will need to drill two holes in your exhaust bracket to mount the FE. This should work in every aftermarket single exhaust that has an exhaust strap. If you can't or are not comfortable drilling the holes we can drill them in your bracket that you send us and have it ready to bolt on when you get it back for $5. We can also powder coat your metal brackets black if you would like for $10. We are working on a way to mount this to the stock exhaust. Anyone that has a true dual exhaust or Laser that is wanting this let us know and we will get in touch with you.  Price is $85 includes shipping in the U.S. This is for the led bracket, hardware to mount your tag and hardware to mount the tag bracket to the exhaust bracket. For those wanting just the led tag bracket they are $40 shipped to you in the U.S."

Do you know if they make that for the ridiculously large European plates? (Which are basically the size of a medium TV...)

No unfortunately not...you poor guys in Europe. I was over there a few months ago and marveled at the size of those things

Man I love the look of this bike and I don't know why? Tasteful mods...I nominate you for Ride of the Month if there is one.

i think there are alot of really FE kits out there with the integrated signal - I thiunk the ONLY problem with them is which pipe to buy so its crowded as little as possible - i'm sure it all lights up the same at night but it just all looks smashed in there with the wrong pipe.

red600 = what kind of double barrel pipe is that?

Those LED-lighted license plate frames are pretty sweet. I was thinking about getting one for Foxy 1 when I first did the "Raccoon Tail". They are made by a company called Street Magic. I first noticed them about 2 years ago on this site. I was always worried they would look bulky, but they actually look pretty decent on an RR.

Here's the place I first noticed them.

Yeah i saw the same thing Blue....they're very similar in design. Tripage does some really nice work. I wanted something minimal but legal...i think they have a winner here. You should see the thing lit up at night...looks awesome.

i think you gotta get the jardine exhaust cause it doesnt crowd the lens as much -

i was in my garage today and i was checking the stock set up - and f**k man - theres very little room in there for a FE light - even with the last pic above with the yosh pipe - hot pipe but it crowds the FE light - I might have to just go with the rizoma and then get whatever pipe i want.

anyone else on the same page??

For whatever its worth..the plate itself is lit up by LED's...here's a pic of them

If your talking about the tailight signal..here's what that looks like:

Although I agree Rizoma looks nice man

yeah - i like the integrated signal so much more - it looks so much cleaner back there - which signal did you go with? did you have to dremel the tail at all?
