Hey everyone, I got my 08 1000rr 2 days ago and have ran through 1 full tank of gas on everything from tight twisty canyons to freeway up to 150. I've been ridin since I was 5 and am now 41. Ive had every kind of bike cept a chopper and a cruiser. Ive always riddin hard and have had my share of crashes.
My last one was the oct before last when I was spiked into the ground at around 60 on a Husky 610 SMR. Wearing the full suit boots and gloves everything was pretty much done in. I owned a 929 RR in 00 with a complete Ti Hindle exhaust that really transformed the bike so I fell in love with the 08 RR. I didnt inform my wife of my desicion to buy the bike and got home after she did and she was standin in the garage while I stood in my leathers on the other side and new lid I just bought. She's so pissed that I now have to go away for a few days and she may in fact leave me. But the bike is something else entirely.
If you guys want the rundown on whats right and not right then just ask and I'll report in.
Mike
