yeah... try to do a search next time before you do a post like, but dont worry it's all good.

to answer your question, if you want a well balanced tire you could go w/ the michelin pilot powers, bridgestone battleax, pirelli diablo corsa, or dunlop gt qualifiers.

there's a bunch of places that sell them for around the same price. if you want tires that were recommended by honda, there should be a label on the chain guard which ones to get.

what type of riding do you do? just cruising around town, twists, etc.? do you ever make it to the edge of your tires?
all of the tires above are good tires, except the corsa...it's one step above the rest as it's better suited for track use. you'll want just the diablos for the streets and canyons...

if you're not into canyons, etc...then you should just go with the sport touring line from the same makers.

I'm currently running a Michelin Pilot Power up front and a Maxxis Supermaxx on the rear. I think it's a great combination.

for cruising around town and general riding, i'd go with the new pilot road.

for canyon carving, the track, etc there are many choices, and all of them can be good depending on what you like. some like the quick turn in of pirelli's, other like the more progressive turn in of michelins, but the modern sportbike tire is an amazing thing.

mostly cruising around town and the occasional aggresive highway or back road ride.

I had this on my katana...and I will be getting a set for the F4i....

"First, I had an initial hard time getting used to the tires profile. They are different from anything I had run before. The tire tips in really quickly, but then the more you lean, the slower they tip in. This was weird at first, but after a few thousand miles on them, I don't want to go back."

That has to be my main reason why....it is true. I will say it took my off guard how EASY it was to lean when I first had them installed....but in a few minutes it is WONDERFUL thing took no effort to move the bike around and that was on a 500lb katana. I had no "chicken strips" left on these tires very quickly....it is just amazing. I have run, Mich. Macadems, Bridgestone Battle Axe, and Pirelli Diablo Stratas, the Road Attacks beat them all out by FAR. Is there anyone else on this forum that has used them?  It seems to me alot of CBR guys are stuck on Michelin.

dude ohio is prime real estate for trackdays. mid ohio, nelson ledges, gingerman, beaverun...it might be a few hours away, but everyone is at least a few hours away from a race track.

anyway, i think the pilot roads will prob do right by you.

Since you're in dayton too, at least you can get your tires up at tire discounters off of needmore.

Hmm I personally felt Pilot Powers had quicker turn in, and the Diablos had a more progressive/nuetral feel. Both awesome tires, best bet is to just try different tires, run your own comparison, and jot down what type of characteristics you personally like from each tire.

i'm not sure which tires have the same profile from pirelli, but i will say that the dragon supercorsas have a really quick "drop in" feel, while perhaps the diablos do not.

Perhaps, I haven't tried those. Since Supercorsa's are more track oriented.

i LOVE supercorsas. fav tires so far. they're not a bad street tire (OEM on the 675 and the 1098/848) i got 5000 miles out of my set on my 675. not the best rain tire though.

My bad on that one.  I was thinking the wrong name, I meant to say Tires Unlimited  up off of needmore just off of 75
