Just picked up an '01 929RR tonight in the red/black scheme. Took her on the maiden voyage 150 miles or so home today and I must say that it's an impressive machine. Definitely a different animal than my old 2k GSXR 600. It has some rash on the right side, so I'll be looking to replace the lower part that has a hole in it and maybe paint her a new color. The only problem with that is that the color is growing on me too fast when I used to HATE Honda red. Either way, I'm glad to be aboard the Honda now!

Welcome to the boards! Honda all the way. Red has never been my color of choice, however I bought the red and black cbr 600RR and it's scary how that honda red does grow on you!

Welcome to the boards. Congrats on your 929. It's a definate improvement from the gsxr600
