Newb to here and riding

. I'm new to riding and I'll be taking MSF course before I buy a new bike. I just want a bike thats fun to ride in mountains/curvy roads not lookin for a stunt bike or a 160mph+ rocket just something thats fun to ride and stuff maybe a wheelie or two but thats it....so would you recomend a 600rr or somrthing eles btw I'm 5'8 260lbs....I know I'm a big boy

600RR is a GREAT bike. but so are the other offerings from the 250-600 class. I would say for your sake, at least test/sit on both the 600RR and the 600 F4i. the F4i has a little bit better ergos as far as just cruising and stuff, the RR can get a bit uncomfortable at times, but you get used to it. Its all a matter of preference. Get yourself a good used bike and see how you like it. In no time youll be hooked and looking for more. Whatever bike you get, RESPECT it, dont be afraid, mind you, but know that whatever bike you have can and will get you into trouble given the chance. ride well within your limits and your skill will progress at a steady rate.

welcome to the forum and yes, I'd recommend a 600cc bike. Like blindLOKI stated... respect with an extra helping of respect and you'll be fine. Look at the F4's if you're more into comfort. The RR's take a little getting use to. Smart move taking the MSF course. I only took it because it was mandatory for all military in order to ride on base, but I'm glad now. It's more of a class to get you familiar with the bike.
