Hey everyone, my name is Gary... just bought a red/black 07 CBR1000RR in December, I really havent had a chance to ride too much bc of stupid ne ohio weather but this is my 1st bike. I attached a couple pictures, I didnt upload the ones from today but I installed a Jardine RT1 carbon fiber dual outlet slip on... and man its loud, sound is really deep and agressive. I cant believe how easy everything is to work on, I just got outta cars (have a 383 LS1 T/A that runs 9s on the bottle) but I had more fun on my buddies wrecked 04 GSXR600 than the car lol. The CBR is by far the nicest bike out, I went to the IX Center to check out the 08 and it was sweeeeet (pics on my myspace), I might get one of them too when they come out. Im just trying to figure what else to do to the bike, I put flushmount signals up front and bought neons at the show. Any suggestions of what I should do next?

Be careful. That's an aweful lot of bike for a first. Gear up and take it slow.
Have you done an MSF course yet?

you want to do a undertsil kit because the tail on them looks like crap.
That was the first thing I did to my 954.

Park the 1000 and get/borrow a piece of crap bike for a while to learn on. That bike is too nice to crash for a dumb reason.

yeah...i went from a XR200R dirt bike to the 1000F and...i didnt have much of a problem changing to the larger CC's, its just the weight was the strangest things.before you really go out riding just go for a short litle trip around your area, get use to the feel before you go out anreally use it...and make sure to watch traffic...mainly the people who drive BMW's with tinted windows who are commming out of the bar late at night and almost hits you.

Haha, I think that's the "wrecked GSXR" that he spoke about and that's in the background there.... Welcome to the site, put some sliders on there, be careful, get some gear.... and post up some "how to"'s on some of the stuff you do to her! We'd love to see a bunch of pictures and a write-up on all your installs of mods, small to large!
