Newest 07 pictures... much better....

Hey guys... found this off another forum so I thought Id bring it to your guyses attention. Looking at the pictures they have here, this bike looks WAAAY sexy. The first few screen shot pics I saw from the vid made it look like poo... these ones have me all excited again, along with the info coming out about hp, weight, trick bits etc. etc.

wow, i love the new fairings.. its crazy, look at the f2's and f2's and they are 100% covered in plastic, this thing hardly has any.

i love it man, just may have to get me one.....looks like a '06 1000rr, with the cheek bone looking fronts. notice the powdercoated (i think) swingarm, and the sexy stator and engine covers? man, never seen curves like that anywhere.

I LOVE the white one with the black graphics. I think I am going to buy one in the near future.

From the side profile the front end almost looks unproportional(sp?)

Judging by the instrument panel, redline still around 15K. Interesting that they didn't go after the Yam's limit.

I think it's good (more useable), but it is interesting.

i think i read something about how it's redline has increased but yet i don't see any increasment hmmm

said it has increased by 500 rpms over the old engine... so hopefully the shift light comes on in the usual spot and we get that extra 5 to shift hahahah who knows. Im also glad they didnt shoot sky high for the rpms after seeing what its done to the powerband on the r6 ugh.

Love the black swimg arm! AND they FINALLY changed the Blinkers........( my 82 had the ones like my 03...) LOL BUT LOOKS SWEET! Love the Look from front!!!

The only thing I'm worried about is the tail/brake light...its attached to the license plate bracket/rear fender. Anyone else see that as a problem w/customization? Other than that I agree...that is a sexy bike. I hate to say it, but the front end looks somewhat similar to the '06 R6 with that center air duct between the lights and the "air tunnel" shape of the front fairings right above the blinkers instead of a solid side.

I like it and then I kind of dont:

I LIKE:

The black swingarm. The black engine/tranny cover.

I DON'T LIKE:

The side profile (looks too Buellish-Compare side profiles to the Buell Firestorm, you'll see what I mean.) Front design (could have been MUCH better), Brake light, side fairings (or the lack thereof).

Pretty much, I'm glad I bought the last 2006 in southern New Mexico. I think it looks much better. The 2007 looks like it went a bit anorexic, and rounded the edges too much. I like the sharp edges that the 2006 has.

BUT!!!! I'm going to save final judgement until I get the chance to see one in person (and ride it). Sometimes, performance and handling enhances the inner beauty, making the appearance more appealing.

I've seen pictures of it with the orange blinkers too, so don't jump for joy yet...It might be a European thing, because the '07 Fireblade (European) has the same blinkers...

Customization shouldnt be too bad, as long as you can either A) remove the actual tail light and place it into another piece or B) plug in another brake light from another piece. It shouldnt be too bad... I myself wouldnt mind just keeping that one stock... you think about it, by the time you get a plate on there.... theres not a whole lot showin :)


And yeah... those winkers suck... but if its like normal, they will have the oem clear covers/orange bulbs right?

I wonder how many teeth are on that rear sprocket for the 07. The 06 looks like it has a bit more teeth. I wonder if they dropped the teeth on the 07 because the horsepower jump made it wheelie very easily.

The blue one looks just like the gsx-r's I think. I don't know if I like the exhaust under the seats. My seat already makes me sweat, it gets crazy warm I think that would just make it worse. I'm debating trading in my 06 blue F4i in Feb for the 07 600rr. What do you think? I wonder how much more it will cost me though. =/

Looks like they finally have both headlights on and a middle highbeam. I know how much it upsets my friends who have newer bikes when people tell them a headlight has gone out, bwaha.

At first glance I thought it was an R6. It does look nice though. I think I'm going to upgrade my '05 for this one. Anyone want to donate to the cause? :p

I thought it looked a bit R6'ish also, but I really dig the full fairing wrap covering the frame. Fuel gauge is cool too.
