Put your feet on the ground. Put your bike in 1st. Hold your front brake very hard. Rev it up to about 8000-9000. Keep holding the front brake. Let out the clutch. It'll burn. If that isn't enough RPM try a little more. BE CAREFUL sometimes the bike will twist on you if you are not straight and level..

I have close to 40K on the street and I haven't even tried to do one. Tires are no joke and I hate cleaning my bike. Rather ride it dirty than clean it to make it dirty again.

Before you start doing burn outs... price new tires. The cheapest you're going to get away with is $250 for a set shipped and having them mounted will really add to it. I found a buddy that works at a shop that mounts them for me at $20 each. That's hard to match. When I called a shop to check on having just the rear tire replaced... $300 was the quote. Once you start burning the tires, you go through them quick.
Just my opinion, but any idiot can spin a tire, why would you want to? Not much skill to it.

Exactly. Why waste the money. Just don't see any reason for it.

If you're going to do it wait till you're going to buy new tires and then do it in the shop parking lot that's what i'm going ti do.

I burnt off my old tire had a great time of it, just hold the break and let the clutch out and rev like hell. I usualy stand up and push on the bars a little to get some weight off the rear tire. I don't recomend it tho, tire that are bald are not safe..

front brake+lots of throttle-clutch=tons of smoke. everyone is right. tires are expensive but finishing off a whipped rubber is lots of fun.
