tahoe understands that times are tough, and we are headed into a recession, that's why tahoe started this thread as the official ghetto rigged set up thread so post your pix!
rule is that it still needs to be safe...and has to be motorcycle related...
so come on and post up, whether it's home made stands or fixing certain motorcycle parts...let's see it!
you may win the next BOTM or BOTY (beater of the month/beater of the year)!!!!
tahoe will take a pix of tahoe's most recent ghetto rigged set up and post it up real soon!

When the packing on your muffler is all blown out, and your looking for a cheap fix, use steel wool.
Tahoe, does that qualify?

If that was a requirement of this thread...then both manic and ff have fouled out already and are no longer allowed to post in here!
steel wool does apply...anything with engenuity, cheap fix, etc...all apply as long as it's safe and cheap! being ugly may may give the poster BOTM or better yet...BOTY! but pix must be posted...or there's no way to tell if it's fo real or bs!
FYI...flipping shift rod and cutting sprocket cover to get gpshift on an F4i is good one! buying a xx or VFR lever to acheive the same function wouldn't be a good one! cause it involves too much bling!

I wish I had a picture of my remote starter switch just in case my solenoid decides not to work.

I think "ghetto rigged" and "safe" in one thread makes it an oxymoron? Otherwise it's just "fabricated".

To me, something ghetto rigged is something to "make it work" until you can fix it right... even if "fix it right" means it never gets done because it works "good enough" like it is. (Example, the flashlight tucked into the light-bulb hole to make it home. haha!)

Dwhite likes how Tahoe refers to Tahoe in the 3rd person. Dwhite has an 07 1kRR, which has no ghetto rigging. Dwhite does have grey duct tape on his wheel weights though for the track. Dwhite thinks that should somewhat count. Dwhite does have a seriously ghetto rigged GMC van for use as a track hauler.

If you bought a slip on can off of ebay and dont have a mid pipe, then go to an auto store and by some flexible exhuast hose. Five dolla fixy fixy.

YES RANGER...YES...THAT'S WHAT THIS THREAD IS SEEKING! POST A PIX MANG!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! safe and functional as long as it clears everything!
ok here's mine...dropped something on my windscreen, broke off a big chunk...it was a great 4 years...but i didn't want to spend more bling on a new one...so i superglued it...and reinforced it some more with plastic from a cd case. it's been hand tested for flex and strength...now time for the field test!

Ranger- That is nice. Does the bike still run good? Did it affect the sound? I am going to have to remember that. How much did it cost?
Keep 'em coming

Ya, runs fine. Its just like having a real mid pipe. Pipe is pipe.
I just have it low mount cuase the flex hose needs to be an inch longer and it would work better for the high mount and also I dont really have a good clamp to go where the back foot rest is.
