Next wkend im paintin my
rims, I've got the Blue/Yellow color scheme and i know everyone is going full yellow or one and one....and I know yellow looks trick...but i was maybe gonna go with white rims(bitch to clean though)...or maybe do base of rims in blue and do spokes yellow....i dunno

I paid about 90 per wheel to powdercoat them yellow with a silver base so you get the flake that the 1000rr have. here is a pic it is not mine but it almost dead on. the last pic was mine when i was installing them hope this helps you decision. i love it and i got my done with only had 6 miles on the bike.

if you look at the second pic i painted the brakes blue on paint brush. i was going to powdercoat the brake it was just a pain in the ass i did it on my last bike. bleeding is but if spray paint it is easier

Hi guys- heres my blue and yellow- with powdercoated wheels with polished lips- gets more looks than any bike in my town-

Did you polish the lip yourself? I was looking at the same thing but in red. Can you get your wheels coated then get someone to polish the lip?

that yelloe powdercoat on the blue/yellow looks freaking SWEEEEEET.......
If you pull the black lower, paint it blue to match, then decal it back.....it would be complete....I did a crude paintshop job but you can get the picture....just my 2-cents....its plenty sweet like it is though
I went with Chrome on my red/black 05.....

that blue rear rim would look good with a yellow powdercoat swingarm.....otherwise..too much blue on the rear....nothing to break it up
i almost did a red powdercoat on mine....possibly with black spokes.....but went with the chrome
