What do you guys think the yellow acts as an accent light for the undertail and swingarm. The plate looks crooked in the pic bc of the bend to avoid the swingarm but it isn't.

From what I could make of the photo, I would be surprised if you didn't get pulled over. It looks like you wouldn't be able to read the plate at all from that angle.
As far as the light, I have no idea if color lights would be legal or not. I think the yellow light would look hot with the blue and yellow RR. (I din't realize you had the blue and yellow until after I looked at your other photos)
Please post a better photo. Set the camera down on a box or tripod and use a self timer (if available) to get a better photo in low light. If you try to take a low-light photo with the flash off while holding the camera in your hand, the picture will always be blurred.

+1 Your askin for a ticket.
Plate should be clearly visible from the rear without crawlin on the ground.

with that yellow light you're just bring more attention to it. Get a relocation kit or a swingarm mount. With the way you have it now you're better off not even running a plate.

Well since I rode all last summer with it like this and have yet to be pulled over for it... I guess where you guys ride just sucks or you are too slow to get away. I love the fact that I post a pic on here and all I do is get ripped for it. You know you could just say don't like it or that it's not a good idea. Either way I think it looks good, and I havent been pulled over for it, so I think I'll keep it.

"guess where you guys ride just sucks or you are too slow to get away."
Here, I will say it for you. "Looks stupid."
I found another picture of your bike, but I could not see the plate at all on it.
Might wanna relocated it to the left or right tentical. Just so your safe from getting a ticket.

Nobody is trying to give you a hard time (except maybe cbr_racin123, but his post was funny). We are just sharing our experience and trying to save you from a ticket.
Personally, I think the yellow light would look cool, but you can't really tell from the photo. I guess you would have to see it to appreciate it. Anyway, this is your bike. Do what you like. But don't ask a question in this forum if you don't want to hear people's opinion. Personnally, that is what I like about this forum - they are honest in their opinions!

looks ok man, but in my neck of the woods (michigan), id be pulled over in a heart beat. not only that, but also for the yellow plate light. cops around here are haters against sportbike riders.
ive got a sportbike creations f/e im not using. bolts right up to the factory spots. just thought i would throw that at ya.

I was not giving you a hard time. Just been saving that picture for awhile, and the comment you made about being to slow to get away.
Well you won the picture. Now lets all get along
Having your plate tucked up so high. Your just waiting for a ticket.
In each state your plate must but totally unobstructed.
Some states you can't have a swingarm mount because the plate is vertical.
Spend a little money and buy a plate mount.
Sure it's a border line thing, but why give someone a reason to pull you over.

Im sorry I was an ass about my response to the comments. Just seems like I've seen some pretty dumb things on here that people seem to think are cool. Either way cops up here are usually cool about the plates as long as they are there. They just made it a fellony to run at all so if you do it doenst matter if they can see the plate once they have the bike they wont stop till they have you. I was pulled over last summer with the plate mounted where it is now and the two cops didnt say anything about the plate they just wanted to write me a burnout ticket (actually a noise violation) and get on with their day. As for not being able to see the plate in the other pictures I have up here, that is because its not mounted there in those pics... infact I dont even think I had it on the bike bc it was just after I bought the exhaust.
Thanks for everyones input
