Alright, so I guess I have to talk shit about myself. I was recommended this site from another Honda rider. I never thought I would be riding a Honda, but it was recommended from my Repsol buddy to buy a 929. He basically called me up and told me to buy this bike that was in the shop for a new battery. I wanted to upgrade to an R1, but there's really no place on this island to enjoy it.
I've heard great comments about the 929, as another buddy has an '01 929 that has almost 100,000 km on it. He's only had 2 problems with it, that occured and fixed 5,000 km ago.
If anyone's out my way in Victoria BC, Canada give me a hollar and we'll enjoy the twisties out here.

Welcome. I drove from Nanaimo to tofino a few years ago. I'd love to do that on a bike..........Fun roads and beautiful country , great combination.

I'm sure I'll love this forum as it would be more advantageous and specific to my bike, as compared to the one I mod. Been browsing the threads and I'm learning more and more about the 929.

New to Honda and this forum myself. I to was gonna get a new R1, but got a deal I couldn't refuse on a leftover 06 CBR1000, so I took it and am glad I did.
