possible buy

i am going to maybe buy a 1990 600. It has an aftermarket pipe and new front brakes. It has all the plastics, which aren't in bad condition, but aren't brand new either. The engine seems to run pretty smooth. Thats all i really know about it, and he's asking 950$ obo. I wanted to get some imput wheather it's a good buy or not. Thanks in advance

As long as you think the engine sounds good, I'd say that isn't a bad right there. 

Pics?  I think that would be a great deal to get a running F1 with plastics that are decent.  I see guys picking some up for $500-750 but they are normally without fairings.

here's the only pic, it's the red one int the back. The guy took off the plastic a couple years ago cause he thought it looked better but has it all. Thanks for all the help

mainly check for the fraim crack.. everything else is fixable... but IF you do find the frame crack, tell him its totaled and give it to ya for 400 or something

If he has all the plastics I would green light this buy.
