as I said in that other forum I cut away the headlight with the projectors Im only gonna use one headlight "endurance style"

Thanks for the post. I saw your write-up on 600rr.net and I've been really wanting to do this. Was it hard to rewire the r6 and RR connectors? So when you hit the high beams, do all 3 of the projectors go on? Cuz with low it's just the one projector right? I wanted to somehow hook it up so that both left and right projectors are on for low, and then have HIDs for when I turn on the high beams.

to answer your questions no it snot hard to rewire it to work, just cutting and connecting 2 wires thats all..
and r6 headlight have 2 bulbs even though there are 4 projectors, one on each side then that reflects into the other ones.. Also with hid's typicaly people run them as low beams cause its hard on the them goin off and on..Id run them as low beams

would R1 headlights work as well or just the R6 headlights? Any specific year headlight recommended?

Doesn't the forks hit the headlight assembly when you turn them all the way? I would think they'd hit or be damn close to hitting with the added bulk to the rear of the headlight housing.
