>I can't seem to get the rear cowl to align after removing the rear section for the licencse plate eliminator kit. It now looks like it doesn't cover the opening all the way.

have you align the two bolts with the grommets in the
rear cowl

there is a lot of wiggles and pulling i dont like to do but you probably just have it hooked on something it wont go all the way over. just look at it closely and pull it over whatever its stuck on

That tail needs to be pushed forward more to meet up with rubber stops
