I`ve have recently dismantled the stock fender and found the its really easy to do, I am using part of the insides as my number(licence) plate holder and itt still has the mounts for turn signals, (original or not). Its all black and is a reasonable solution to removing the ugly rear plastics for free.
I`ll post some pics later.

Needs sprayin black to hide a few scuffs but you get the idea.
