glad to see the cops in good old Ga are still being dicks. i got nailed this summer when on a road trip in north Ga. a group of us were riding to go get something to eat in town when we came up on a slow moving car. she was doing 20 in a 45. the lady turned on her flashers and waved the front bikes by. there was some traffic oncoming so i stayed behind her for a bit. she kept flapping her arm to pass. i waited till there was a long straigh shot. turned on my signal, passed her doing 35 in a 45, waved as i passed and didnt even make it 20 feet in front of her before the unmarked cop three cars behind me had me pulled over. turns out even if a car pulls to the side with flashers on and waves you by you can get a 250 dollar ticket in lumpkin co. Ga. cop was saying i was going to jail for reckless endangerment for passing in a no passing zone doing ten under the speed limit. he had a more important call to go to so a rookie gave us our tickets and MANDATORY court appernece. for a mc violation. cars do not need to appear but bikes do? i got a local biker lawer to call the court house and they let me mail in my 250 dollar fine, and waivement fee. ticket was $116 the rest was a gift to the assholes for letting me mail it. the cops in Ga are hating bikes way to much. i would get a good lawyer and fight it like i did. i was not going to drive almost 800 miles to pay a traffic ticket. they can come find me in ohio or i would mail it. got lucky with the threat of a lawyer and mailed it.

I know a few real LEO's who would also think that stupid.
Then there are those that issuing forms and talking or punching in someone's DL# all day forget the protect part and just serve,
up tickets.
But if you ae realistic, it's their jobs.
Just make sure you know where you are and where you aren't.

Does anyone on here know the law good? Would a traffic lawyer be able to get it dropped or to a lesser offense? Dont need this on my driving record
