colored tires aren't considered squid-like or poser-ish because they are colored, its because somebody that buys these spent real $ on POS tires that don't stick for crap just to look cool (thats kinda the definition of a squid). and most riders that i've talked to don't even think they look cool
I don't have a problem with guys that make their bikes look good or even just make it look good to them, its when I see a brand new highly modified, custom painted, chromed out bike with a rider that has more than a year of experience yet still doesn't even know how to approach a corner or brake properly and doesn't wear gear that I begin to mock openly

omg the guy can do a wheelie what skills he must have lol

I'd be all over it if the colored tires put out the same color smoke when you burn it off! Nah, I really wouldn't but it's fun to think about. Now maybe glow in the dark tires...

nah..the look doesnt really effect the performance soo go nuts..such as ...have a shitty tire to look cool and risk riding on the worst tire ever.

+1 to that pitbull... i think thoes tire pens are just a color accent... and as you mentioned they do not adversly affect the preformance of the tire.

They aren't squid like, but I do hear that they look like crap after actually riding on them. They don't really adversly affect the tire because most people just put them in the grooves, however once you drive through a puddle and pick up some dirt the color gets pretty nasty (this is all alegedly since I don't know anyone who will risk coloring in their tire, since they'll still get ridiculed to no end with the guys i ride with)

It really doesnt matter to me what you people think about how I use the bar on back. If any of you would have been a little bit more mature about it and asked me why its on there than maybe you could have seen my answer instead of mouthing about it. Im sorry but I dont see you pullin 12's with or without a bar. As far as i know you have a picture of a bike on the net that you stole from someone elses website. Doesnt much matter to me but Im still not picking at you about what your bike looks like. Every single picture that I have on there is posted 2 days after i had put the bar on anyways. Still there arent an abundance of scratches on it but thats my own choice. Im pretty sure the bar is going to stay on anyways. Makes me feel better knowing theres someing hard way back there in a staggered wheelie than just a thin piece of plastic.
