i see a bunch of you have polished your rims i wanna do this. i have a old rim off my 900rr i tried aircraft remover from kleen strip,it didnt even touch the paint. the rim was recoated by someone before i got it will this make the difference?

It shouldn't make a difference unless if it was anodized but thats highly unlikely. How did you try to do it?

Did you do it in direct sunlight and let it sit??? Is it over 60 degrees by you?

did it in my basement i brushed it on and let it set 20 mins or more

Man, that's strange. Got any up close pictures of the rim? Also did you apply the stripper pretty thick?

Sunlight is a major factor in it, try doing it in the sun

It's not powdercoated, is it? I heard that it has a difficult time with powdercoat (so I've heard.)
