Sato slip on cost

Is $550 a good price for a 2006 CBR 1000 Sato slip on?

You can get a brand spanker for $630 + shipment.

I've been pricing Sato's, to.  Daca's $630 quote is what I'm seeing all over.  If I found one for $550 I'd jump on it.  Is it a company selling them for that price?  If so, post a link.  I'll get one.

it's a local shop that i was told ordered one for someone and they never picked it up.  i was told they were giving it to me at dealer cost.    i originally went in for a power commander because their website showed they had one in stock, but discovered they did not have one when i go there. 
 
being the sceptic i am i question all of it.  first why would a business, especially a small business, special order a part and not get full or at least partial payment up front to insure the part actually gets picked up.  second i found one online for $590 with very little searching.   lastly retail is $650 and it seems to me dealer cost is probably less than the $550.  considering Dynojet shows ther PC to list at $340, but i have seen many dealers listing them for $260 so by percentage it should be less tha $550.
 
i am just trying to understand if it really is a good deal.  not really looking for a pipe at this point but would hate to pass up something smoking hot
