I doubt it has the stability of the Veyron at high speeds. Bugati went through ALOT and is actually losing money on the Veyron. Remember the Veyron was desingned as an everyday driver and high speed vehicle. Car and Driver was amazed at the reliability and practicality of the car. Bugati is running a much higher notch program and the Veyron is a better car and much more capable machine.

^^^boo this man... BOOO!

Bugatti spent 5 years making a car with 16 cylinders and 4 turbos that ONLY makes 1001 HP, costs a million bucks and they still manage to lose money on it hahaha

Shiiiii I just wanna kno what the tires are rated at lol While watching the video thats all I could wonder. Imagine catchin a flat at 255mph. You'd crash for over a mile

C'mon... Bugati could've got 2000hp out of the Veyron, hell, that's what Hennessy does with the vipers. Anybody can blow the beejesus out of an engine and get all the power in the world. That's what tuners and crazy half-ass aftermarket turbo kits are for... Sure, you can get 1000hp out of a Supra run it hard a few times over 200mph and have the engine explode in less than 1000miles. That's where the Bugati comes in. It puts out 1001 SAE net hp (987 american horses) on an engine that won't destroy itself after running hard all of it's life. Bugati knew it was going to lose money, the only reason they developed the Veyron was for publicity. They are now focusing on a $125,000 sport coupe which they plan to make 2000 per year. The new car is said to be using one of VW's W series engines (The same powerplant the Veyron is derived from.) Either way, I'm looking foward to see it. The only trouble point I see is for Bugati not to develop a vehicle that would compete with it's sister companies ie; Lamborghini and Bently.
I, personally am
NOT a fan of the Veyron, give me a Ferrari 575M Maranello anyday. That's a gorgeous machine!
And about the tires... That was one of Bugatis biggest problems during the development of the Veyron. They worked together with Michelin and ended up making special
Michelin PAX System Pilot Sport Tires that could withstand over 250mph on a 4800lbs car.
