seat cowl fyi

just found out that war eagle's seat cowl for yellow 03's don't match the color so far done A LOT of research on this and Targa is the only one so far that matches the yellow perfectly found the for 179.00 and after shiping is around 190.00 just thot I'd share for all the cool people that know yellow is the best color. lol

Not sure bout the other colors so be carfule what you buy and make sure they will take it back.
also true with undertail huggers as far as i know.

If you find out different let me know

FYI...the Honda OEM seat cowl matches the color perfectly and looks the best too...

i've got a Targa seat cowl and i'd say it's a 95% match... depending on the light/angle whatever. check out the pics in my gallery and tell me what you think. match?

I personally like the OEm the best, but if wasn't going that route the Targa would definately be 2nd

I don't know if it's the same with the blue, but the yellow is pretty difficult to match...it's a three step paint process if you do it right.

White base, pearl yellow then clear coat...the paint shops usually have to do some formula tweaking to get a good match.

you can get the oem seat cowl for like 160 so there's no point in buying a targa at that price. the yellow that war eagle uses is actually a GSX-R yellow and the reason they don't paint the honda color on is because our yellow is a pearlescent(pain in the ass and expensive to paint) not to mention real hard to match. A lot of paint shops won't even try to match it if you take an unpainted cowl to them.

yeah the oem cowls are cheaper than targa. only reason i ended up with a targa is because some guy sold me his for $50 and i thought that was a pretty good deal
