I read through the whole post (13 pages), and it is interesting seeing all these people fired up because of a "small crack". Then, the whole thing about the guy trying to post the pics is hilarious. I laughed so hard on that "placing a toothpick in the crack" section that my wife asked me if I was going to share what I was reading. She laughed too when she started reading about the whole thing with the guy trying to post the pics.
I guess there are always some things out there that we are not good at!! Thank you for the link. I am glad I got a Honda and not a Kawi.

I would not call the ZX-10 shitty or cheap. They are bad ass if you ask me. The shop he works at has sold about 10 and none have come backed with cracks in the frame. Unless anyone knows different I have to believe this is an isolated incident.

well, it all boils down to this, shit happens, maybe the bike was built on a monday or a friday. My CBR has some issues it's notorious for, well, i found honda bikes in general have crap for valvetrains (particularly cam chains and tensionsers), my little CT70 died of a bad automatic chain tensioner, my XL185 cam chain tensioner snapped at a pivot point, shredding mmy cam chain into 4 pieces and bending a valve, and I hear the Hurricane has some issues... I dont' know what the issues with gixxers are, but I'm sure there are some too... so in all fairness nothing is perfect and don't pick on the flaws too much

The ZX-10 is a tough bike....Now if Kawasaki can figure out how to keep the weight where it is now but not at the cost of safety (Cutting corners on the frame) then it would be an even better bike!

its seems to be an isolated incident
Kawi is as good/as bad as the rest of the sportbike makers
i've owned zx-9rs and zx-7rs - they'd run with the best of the pack all day

all the stuff out now is so bad as5...love technology...anyone here had a bike from the 90s...how about the 80s? Love my CBR, but I'd ride a zx-10.
