first off do any of the exhausts in considering (all slip-ons) require a re-map? im looking at all slip-ons.
Muzzy - cheap, had one on my 250 and loved it but havent seen anyone here with one.
Yoshi RS3 - $269
Yoshi Tri - $287
Used Akra CF
the custom made one being made here that is almost done.
does anyone else recommend another one to get that is in the $250-$275 range?

a slip on does not need a remapping. If you do the only difference you will notice is a smoother powerband not any increase in power. A slip on is really only good for a horsepower or two, looks, and sound. If you want real power you need to do a full system and remap with a powercommander. If I were you'd i'd get one of the Yosh pipes the muzzy's are like you said "cheap" their packing wears out quickly and get real loud and annoying.
