Hey guys i searched and got nothing helpful about shogun frame sliders

i bought a set and dont kno how to install them the directions are basically no help they are two lines long and say bolt to engine mount.

does anyone have in depth directions on where to bolt and where to cut for these. and im guessing the longer one goes on the left side to protect the cover.

I have Vortex's, But yea I think the longer one is for the left side. You'll have to remove the the fairings to see the bolt you will be replacing. There are several how to's on here on how to line up n cut the holes, tho I think most were done with Vortexs, but the process would be the about the same. Good luck.

Heres one How to, from the How To section

I have shogun frame sliders, but they are out being powdercoated right now, so I don't remember which one is longer (I think its the left side). Well you need to cut your fairings obviously. I used a laser lever to pin point the hole where I need to cut the fairing. Step 1) take off the fairing and point a laser at the spot where the bolt will go. Step 2) Put the fairing back on with the laser pointed at the same spot and mark your center point. Step 3) Drill the hole in the fairing at the spot marked in step 2. Step 4) Install the sliders and put fairings back on. Make sure if you do it the laser lever way that your laser is perfectly aligned and horizontal.

do i have to drill a whole as big as the little lip on the slider or just the size of the bolt?? and does it matter what bolt i replace?

The hole will need to be as big as the slider so yous fairings can be taken on n off. And yes there are specific bolts in whic you will be replacing.
This one on each side. And only do one side at a time.
