I high sided almost exactly the way this guy did, but not as violent.

High-siding is fun if you have a cushion to catch you and your bike afterwards so that there wouldn't be any damage. It's nice being in the air, but it's the part where you come down that sucks. It would definitely hurt more if I didn't have my gear on. After you land, you're basically just tossed around and rolling.

Trying to get pics up soon.

Sounds like the hi side is no fun at all, i think i will try and stick to the low, and slide. Well all in all the bike does not look too bad, couple of new plastics and good to go?

as long as you are ok thats all that matters, you can fix or buy a new bike.

you have full insurance?

I'll be needing plastics, tires, right frame slider, and right mirror. Then, I'm good to go.

Yeah, I have full insurance. Does it matter? Should I really file it with my insurance though? I have a $500 deductible. It won't cost much more than that and I'll still have to pay the deductible. Moreover, this will go on my record and my insurance rates will go up. For the most part, things like this isn't worth filing for.

yeah, I dont know if I would claim it either.  for the money vs deductible plus future insurance rates.

I trashed 2 bikes last year, 1 twice, (after I had spent $1200 to fix it after the first incident) and only turned in 1 on insurance.  If I had to do over again, I'm not sure I would have even turned that one in, it was a total right off, but I think I could have put it back together.

My insurance did go up $10 a month this year at renewal, they claim its not from the accident, just standard increases.

My exhaust is scratched up. I didn't take a picture of it, but it's not too bad.
